DevOps Engineer

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will play a vital role in streamlining our CI/CD processes and improving system reliability while working with modern cloud technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead the setup of infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions like Terraform.
• Focus on automating and improving deployment processes.
• Ensure compliance with security standards across all deployed services.
• Analyze and improve existing cloud setups for better cost efficiency.
• Participate in architectural discussions to improve system design.
• Provide technical support for cloud services and applications.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
• Relevant certifications in cloud technologies are preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of practical experience in a DevOps role

Certifications

• Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer

Languages

• English: Fluent
