Job Description

Responsibilities

• Analyze architectural drawings and specifications to estimate structural requirements.
• Ensure that all designs meet established technical standards.
• Collaborate on innovative and sustainable design solutions.
• Provide technical guidance during project bidding and negotiations.
• Evaluate existing structures for safety and compliance with regulations.
• Develop cost-effective strategies for project execution.
• Prepare technical proposals and oversee project contracts.
• Participate in meetings with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Monitor progress and promote a high standard of quality control.
• Assist with the preparation of project budgets and schedules.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Professional Engineer (PrEng) registration preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in structural engineering

• AutoCAD
