Job Description

The Oxidation Operator will be responsible for producing high-quality products through the safe and efficient operation of oxidation equipment. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment, ensuring all production targets are met while maintaining quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper operation of oxidation systems to meet production goals.
• Inspect and troubleshoot equipment for performance issues.
• Collaborate with maintenance staff to handle repairs and upkeep.
• Record and analyze production data to enhance efficiency.
• Train new operators on equipment operation and safety practices.
• Contribute to the development of best practices in production activities.
• Participate in safety audits and contribute to safety reports.
• Assist with the implementation of process improvements.
• Work cohesively with quality control teams to ensure compliance.
• Document operational findings and provide feedback to management.

Requirements

Education

• Matric Certificate or equivalent
• National Diploma in Chemical Engineering or related field is advantageous

Experience

• Experience operating oxidation equipment is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Ability to follow instructions and procedures
• Flexibility and adaptability

Soft Skills

• Team player
• Organizational skills

Certifications

• ISO standards training is advantageous

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Experience with quality assurance systems: Familiarity with techniques to ensure product quality.
