Job Description

We are on the lookout for a User Experience Researcher to join our team in Durban. This individual will play a crucial role in enhancing our products by understanding user needs and behaviors through in-depth research. Your insights will directly influence design decisions and ultimately improve customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Lead user interviews to uncover insights about user behavior.
• Conduct competitive analysis to benchmark user experience.
• Construct and implement usability tests and gather user feedback.
• Synthesize research findings into actionable design recommendations.
• Support designers in translating research insights into design concepts.
• Engage with stakeholders to communicate the importance of user research.
• Develop research protocols and ensure compliance with best practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in User Experience Design or related field
• Certification in User Research is a bonus

Experience

• 4+ years in UX research with a portfolio demonstrating usability studies

• Survey Design

Certifications

• Nielsen Norman Group Certification
• Certification in Human-Computer Interaction

Languages

• English: Fluent
