Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist

Job Description

As a Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist, you will perform MRI scans on patients, ensuring safety protocols are followed and high-quality images are obtained. You'll work in various healthcare facilities, providing essential diagnostic imaging services to aid in patient treatment.

Responsibilities

• Complete MRI scans while ensuring the production of quality images.
• Implement safety protocols and maintain a sterile environment.
• Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures.
• Work alongside radiologists and other medical staff for patient diagnosis.
• Manage MRI equipment functionality and perform routine maintenance.
• Maintain comprehensive records of patient demographics and scan results.
• Report any abnormalities in imaging results to the medical team.
• Perform emergency procedures as needed.
• Assist in maintaining hospital or imaging center compliance.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Radiography or related field
• Advanced certification in MRI technology is a plus

Experience

• Experience in performing MRI scans on a travelling basis preferred
