Responsibilities
Oversee the chemical production processes and ensure they are running smoothly and safely.
Review and analyze production data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Manage a team of chemical operators and ensure they are adequately trained.
Implement process changes to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
Act as a liaison between management and production teams to communicate objectives and concerns.
Ensure that safety audits are performed and corrective actions are taken.
Monitor stock levels of chemicals and supplies and coordinate procurement.
Regularly report to upper management on production status and any challenges faced.
Develop training programs for new and existing employees on chemical handling and safety.
Ensure compliance with legislative requirements regarding chemical operations.

Education
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline
Postgraduate qualifications are preferred
