Job Description

We are on the lookout for a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our team in Cape Town. In this dynamic role, you will analyze financial data and trends, providing actionable insights to support business objectives. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and a passion for financial modeling.

Responsibilities

• Analyze historical financial data to identify trends.
• Build financial models to support forecasts and budgets.
• Prepare comprehensive reports for internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate on internal audits and compliance checks.
• Work with department heads to gather financial information.
• Evaluate investment opportunities and provide recommendations.
• Present financial findings to senior management.
• Assist in the development of financial strategies to optimize resources.
• Conduct variance analysis to identify deviations from budgets.
• Support month-end close processes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• CFA or similar qualification is a plus

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis or a related field

Certifications

• CFA Level I
