Job Description

We seek a skilled Textile, Apparel, and Furnishings Worker to join our dynamic production team. The successful candidate will manage the entire souring process, ensuring product quality and process efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Ensure product specifications meet quality standards.
• Monitor raw material usage and manage inventory effectively.
• Participate in daily production meetings to discuss challenges and solutions.
• Propose improvements to production processes.
• Assist in maintaining safety standards in the workplace.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma or degree in Food Science or a related field

Experience

• 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role within the manufacturing sector.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of fermentation and souring processes
• Experience with MS Office Suite

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail
• Problem-solving

Advantageous

• Experience with HACCP procedures: Familiarity with Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) principles.
• Experience in quality control within a manufacturing environment: Previous roles focused on ensuring product conformance to industry standards.
