Job Description

As an IT Support Technician at Tech Innovations Inc., you will be responsible for maintaining and managing IT systems to ensure efficient operations. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical users. You will assist in troubleshooting hardware and software issues, providing tech support, and ensuring that systems are up-to-date.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to technical support requests via phone, email, or ticketing system.
  • Perform troubleshooting procedures and escalate unresolved issues to advanced support as necessary.
  • Help maintain and update IT documentation including user manuals and troubleshooting guides.
  • Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, networks, and printers.
  • Collaborate with IT staff to develop and optimize system infrastructure.
  • Assist with IT asset management and inventory control.
  • Participate in user training sessions to promote technology best practices.
  • Actively contribute to projects aimed at improving IT service delivery.
  • Stay up to date with new technologies and industry best practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma in Information Technology or related field
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in IT support or help desk environment
