Job Description

We are seeking a creative UI Designer to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for aesthetics and detail, contributing to the development of user-centric web and mobile interfaces. You will collaborate with UX designers and developers to ensure the delivery of delightful user experiences.

Responsibilities

• Design and create visually appealing UI components for web and mobile applications.
• Collaborate with UX designers to ensure designs are user-friendly and meet user needs.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to iterate on design solutions.
• Develop and maintain style guides and design systems.
• Work with developers to ensure designs are implemented effectively.
• Stay updated with industry trends and new design techniques.
• Present design concepts and specifications to stakeholders.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Design or related field
• Master's degree or additional training in UI design is preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in creating user interfaces

• InVision
• JavaScript

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with animation tools: Familiarity with animation tools like After Effects for creating interactive designs.
• Experience in responsive design: Understand and implement responsive design principles for various devices.
