Responsibilities

• Collaborate with actuarial teams to set appropriate premium rates.
• Review claims to identify patterns and improve underwriting practices.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes affecting the insurance industry.
• Build strong relationships with agents and clients for improved service delivery.
• Prepare reports and presentations on underwriting performance metrics.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Insurance
• Master's degree in Risk Management is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in insurance underwriting

Technical Skills

• Policy Development
• Financial Modeling

Soft Skills

• Negotiation Skills
• Teamwork

Certifications

• Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute (FCII)
• Risk Management Certification is preferred

Languages

• English: Fluent
