Job Description

We are looking for an IT Support Technician to join our team in Bloemfontein. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, providing technical support to staff, and ensuring the efficient operation of our IT systems. You should be customer-focused with a knack for problem-solving and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Resolve technical issues relating to hardware and software.
• Provide desktop support for computer and peripheral devices.
• Conduct regular system checks and updates to ensure optimal performance.
• Ensure data backups are conducted regularly and restored as needed.
• Maintain an inventory of IT equipment and software licenses.
• Support the IT Manager in implementing new technology initiatives.
• Engage in continuous learning to stay updated on IT trends and solutions.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Information Technology or related field
• Bachelor's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 2-5 years in a technical support role preferred
