Job Description

We are searching for an IT Support Technician with solid technical skills to join our Durban team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology and experience in providing first-class technical support to users. You will troubleshoot hardware and software issues and ensure the smooth operation of IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Help users resolve IT issues and provide excellent customer service.
• Assist in managing IT equipment and inventory.
• Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostic tests to identify issues.
• Prepare and install hardware and software for new users.
• Assist in maintaining network infrastructure.
• Monitor system performance and ensure security measures.
• Communicate effectively with users to provide updates on issues.
• Collaborate with the IT team to improve service delivery.
• Stay updated on the latest IT trends and technologies.
• Contribute to a knowledge base for common issues and solutions.

Requirements

Education

• BTech in Information Technology or related field
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals) are preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of IT support experience.

Technical Skills

• MacOS support
• Remote support tools

Certifications

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals
• CompTIA A+ Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
