Tile and Stone Setter

Job Description

We are seeking skilled Tile and Stone Setters to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation of tiles and stone in a variety of projects, ensuring that every installation meets our high standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site assessments to determine installation requirements.
• Communicate effectively with clients and project managers.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations while on the job.
• Perform quality checks on completed work to ensure high standards.
• Record and report any material shortages to management.
• Assist with training and mentoring junior team members.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and techniques in tiling and stone work.
• Manage and prioritize multiple tasks on different job sites.
• Utilize tools and equipment safely and effectively.
• Complete projects on time and within budget.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Vocational training in a relevant field is desirable

Experience

• 3+ years in a similar role preferred

Technical Skills

• Tile Installation
• Stone Installation

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Time Management

Certifications

• First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Basic

• Driver's license: A valid driver's license for transport to various job sites.
• Experience in design consultation: Experience advising clients on bathroom layouts and design.
