UX/UI Designer

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a talented UX/UI Designer to join our Pretoria team. You will be responsible for creating user-friendly designs and improving user satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a blend of user experience research skills and an eye for aesthetics.

Responsibilities

• Design intuitive and engaging interfaces that enhance user experience.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to define and design new features.
• Develop design guidelines and best practices to maintain consistency across platforms.
• Utilize analytics and user feedback to improve design processes.
• Assist in the development of user personas and journey maps.
• Create presentations to communicate design concepts to stakeholders.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's in User Experience, Graphic Design, or similar
• Advanced qualification in Design is a plus

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in interactive design

Technical Skills

• Sketch
• Prototyping Tools

Soft Skills

• Effective Communication
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• Certified UX Designer
• Certified Interaction Designer

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic

Advantageous

• Experience with animation in design: Ability to create animated elements in UI for enhanced user engagement.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards: Understanding of designing for accessibility to accommodate all users.
