DevOps Engineer

Job Description

We are in search of a skilled DevOps Engineer to enhance our development and operations team in Johannesburg. You will play a crucial role in automating and maintaining our cloud infrastructure while driving our CI/CD initiatives. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of cloud technologies and a passion for efficiency and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Architect and manage cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
• Drive DevOps initiatives to increase release frequency.
• Align infrastructure capacity with business requirements.
• Support incident response and resolution efforts.
• Evaluate and adopt new tools and technologies.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the team.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
• Master's degree in Software Engineering is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps frameworks and methodologies

• Ansible

Certifications

• Google Professional Cloud Architect
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert

Languages

• English: Fluent
