Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will work closely with educators to support classroom activities, help with lesson preparations, and engage with students to enhance their learning experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and implementation of lesson plans.
• Engage with students actively to boost their learning experience.
• Support teachers with grading and record-keeping.
• Encourage students to participate in class discussions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom.
• Coordinate with parents for student progress updates.
• Monitor and manage classroom supplies.
• Facilitate after-school tutoring or homework assistance.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Education or equivalent
• Additional qualifications in special education is an advantage

Experience

• Previous experience as a teaching assistant is an advantage
