We are seeking a skilled Model Maker specializing in wood to join our creative team. You will be responsible for crafting high-quality wooden prototypes and models that meet rigorous specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in woodworking techniques, attention to detail, and a passion for quality craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble wooden models based on technical specifications.
• Oversee the quality check of prototypes to meet design specifications.
• Engage in problem-solving activities to address manufacturing issues.
• Document fabrication processes and maintain accurate records.
• Coordinate with manufacturing and engineering teams for effective product development.
• Stay updated on new woodworking technologies and techniques.
• Train junior staff and assist in their development.
• Participate in creative brainstorming sessions to discover innovative solutions.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Carpentry or Woodworking Technology

Experience

• 5+ years of experience working in product development and manufacturing environments

Certifications

• OSHA Safety Certification

Languages
