Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic Cape Town team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in cloud computing platforms and DevOps practices, with a strong commitment to improving the efficiency of our cloud-based solutions. This role will involve designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud applications, leveraging automation and tools for maximum efficacy.

Responsibilities

• Implement containerization solutions using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Work with cross-functional teams to prepare cloud-based infrastructure for delivery.
• Setup and maintain monitoring tools for cloud operations.
• Participate in the planning and execution of cloud migration projects.
• Facilitate disaster recovery planning and strategy.
• Draft technical documentation and reports for cloud architecture.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of specific experience with cloud deployment
