We are seeking a dynamic Cloud Solutions Architect to join our Johannesburg office. In this role, you will design and implement robust cloud strategies, enabling our clients to leverage the latest cloud technologies and drive their business forward. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver highly available and scalable solutions that meet our clients' needs. The ideal candidate is passionate about cloud architecture, possesses strong technical skills in cloud platforms, and has a solution-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud infrastructures.
• Engage with stakeholders to understand business requirements.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance on cloud technologies.
• Evaluate and integrate new cloud technologies and practices.
• Establish disaster recovery and backup solutions.
• Facilitate workshops and presentations on cloud capabilities.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Master's degree in Information Technology is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in cloud solutions

Technical Skills

• Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Docker

Soft Skills

• Analytical Skills
• Leadership

Certifications

• Google Professional Cloud Architect
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.: Experience setting up and managing CI/CD workflows for cloud deployments.
• Understanding of DevOps practices.: Knowledge in agile methodologies and collaborative software development.
