UX Designer

Job Description

We are looking for a creative and talented UX Designer to join our team in Stellenbosch. In this role, you'll collaborate with product managers and developers to design user-friendly interfaces and improve the overall user experience of our applications. You will be responsible for conducting user research, designing wireframes, and creating prototypes to communicate your design ideas.

Responsibilities

• Lead design projects from concept to completion.
• Present design ideas and concepts to stakeholders and users.
• Create responsive designs for websites and mobile applications.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to align user interface with branding.
• Analyze competitor UX strategies and incorporate valuable insights.
• Document design processes and decisions for future reference.

Requirements

Education

• BTech in Interaction Design or related field
• Certifications in UX/UI design are a plus

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in a UX role

Technical Skills

• Sketch
• Usability Testing Methods

Soft Skills

• Empathy
• Communication

Certifications

• UX Design Certification from a recognized institution

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of accessibility best practices: Experience in designing accessible experiences for users with disabilities.
• Proficiency in JavaScript for prototypes: Ability to create interactive prototypes using JavaScript.
