We are seeking a talented Cybersecurity Consultant to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of security protocols and frameworks, assisting clients with risk assessments and developing comprehensive cybersecurity strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead cybersecurity audits and identify risk factors.
• Guide clients in improving overall security posture.
• Implement advanced security monitoring tools.
• Act as a liaison between clients and IT teams.
• Ensure adherence to industry-specific security standards.
• Participate in incident response teams.
• Develop incident response strategies.
• Contribute to the creation of security awareness programs.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging threats and technologies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity
• Master's degree in a related field is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in the cybersecurity sector

Certifications

• Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
