Job Description

As an Accountant at our Port Elizabeth office, you will oversee a range of financial tasks including tax compliance, accounts payable and receivable, and strategic financial planning. We value accuracy and integrity, and you will be a key player in driving the financial stability of our firm.

Responsibilities

• Create monthly financial reports and gain insights on performance.
• Coordinate audit preparations and liaise with external auditors.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation.
• Implement cost control measures and efficiency improvements.
• Advise on financial planning and investment strategies.
• Review invoices and ensure timely payments.
• Facilitate financial training for non-financial staff.
• Stay updated on changes in financial regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Relevant postgraduate qualification is a plus

Experience

• 3-4 years of proven accounting experience
