Job Description

We are seeking a Clinical Psychologist to join our dedicated mental health team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will possess profound knowledge in psychological assessment and therapy, specializing in various psychological issues while actively participating in community outreach initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients' mental health status and promote strategies for improvement.
• Design and lead engaging therapeutic activities and interventions.
• Provide crisis intervention when necessary.
• Research and contribute to policy proposals related to mental health services.
• Contribute to a multidisciplinary team approach to client care.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Psychology or related field
• Doctorate in Clinical Psychology preferred

Experience

• 2-5 years experience in clinical settings

Technical Skills

• Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
• Interpersonal Therapy (IPT)

Soft Skills

• Adaptability
• Teamwork

Certifications

• Certified Clinical Psychologist

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic
