Job Description

Join us as an IT Support Technician, where you will be responsible for supporting IT infrastructure and providing excellent customer service. You will troubleshoot and resolve issues while maintaining hardware and software systems, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of the business. We're looking for someone driven and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and resolve technical problems reported by users.
• Ensure compliance with company-wide IT policies and procedures.
• Assist in planning and implementing technology upgrades.
• Prepare reports on IT support metrics and user satisfaction.
• Contribute to the development of user training materials and guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with users to explain technical issues.
• Assist in evaluating and recommending new IT tools and resources.

Requirements

Education

• National Diploma in IT or related qualification
• BTech or Degree in Information Technology is preferred

Experience

• 2-3 years of experience in technical support or helpdesk role

Technical Skills

• Remote Desktop Tools
• Antivirus Software

Soft Skills

• Adaptability
• Teamwork

Certifications

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals
• ITIL Foundation Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Scripting Skills: Basic knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell or Bash for automation tasks.
• Project Management Experience: Experience in managing small IT projects or initiatives.
