We are seeking an experienced Information Security Specialist to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in defending our organization’s digital assets by implementing effective security measures and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Lead incident response efforts and investigations.
• Develop and maintain policies for accessing information security.
• Provide guidance on security best practices to all teams.
• Review and analyze security alerts from various sources.
• Engage with vendors to assess security products and solutions.
• Evaluate emerging security technologies for potential implementation.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or related discipline
• Master's degree in Cybersecurity is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in information security

• Security Auditing

Certifications

• Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
• CompTIA Security+

Languages

• English: Fluent
