Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team in Cape Town. This position involves designing, developing, and supervising electrical systems and equipment, ensuring they meet all regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in electrical principles, project management skills, and experience in various types of electrical projects.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed electrical system design and analysis.
• Develop project proposals and cost estimates.
• Monitor project progress and implement necessary adjustments.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers.
• Participate in project meetings to discuss progress and challenges.
• Evaluate the performance of electrical systems post-installation.
• Research and implement new technologies to improve efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Professional Engineer (PrEng) registration is highly desirable

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering projects
