Job Description

As a Hotel Clerk, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for providing top-notch service. You will manage check-ins and check-outs, assist with guest inquiries, and ensure seamless hotel operations. Your role is crucial in guaranteeing a pleasant stay for all visitors.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests and manage all aspects of their check-in and check-out experience.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of availability and special requests.
  • Collaborate with other departments to enhance guest experiences.
  • Assist guests with luggage and provide local area information.
  • Process payments and keep accurate records of financial transactions.
  • Implement effective communication with the security team regarding guest access.
  • Manage guest complaints and strive for a speedy resolution.
  • Stay informed about hotel policies and procedures to assist guests effectively.

Requirements

Education
  • Matric certificate or equivalent
  • Diploma in Hospitality Management or similar qualifications
Experience
  • 1-2 years of experience in a hotel front desk or customer service position.
Technical Skills
  • Experience with Booking Engines

Languages
  • English: Fluent
