Job Description

As an Upper Extremity Surgeon, you'll be responsible for diagnosing and treating complex conditions affecting the shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand. This role demands excellent surgical skills along with the capacity to develop personalized treatment plans for patients.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat conditions affecting the shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand.
  • Perform minimally invasive and traditional surgical procedures.
  • Implement post-surgery care protocols for optimal recovery.
  • Work closely with nursing and administrative staff to ensure a smooth workflow.
  • Conduct follow-up appointments and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Inform and involve patients in their care decisions and recovery goals.
  • Participate in community outreach programs related to orthopedic health.
  • Document patient outcomes for quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Education
  • Medical degree from an accredited institution
  • Specialization in Orthopedics, with a focus on upper extremity surgery
Experience
  • 5+ years of orthopedic surgical experience preferred
