Ethical Hacker

Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Ethical Hacker to join our cybersecurity team in Port Elizabeth. In this role, you will identify vulnerabilities in our systems, conduct penetration testing, and ensure our security measures are robust. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of security protocols, threat modelling, and risk assessment.

Responsibilities

• Lead penetration testing exercises to identify vulnerabilities.
• Assess the effectiveness of existing security measures.
• Prepare and present findings to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with software development teams to secure applications.
• Maintain security documentation and compliance records.
• Research and analyse current cyber threats.
• Advise on best practices for secure system design.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or related field
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in ethical hacking or cybersecurity

Certifications

• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
