Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Public Relations Manager to join our team in Durban. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing PR strategies that promote our brand and enhance our market presence. You will engage with various media outlets and build relationships to increase brand awareness.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all public relations activities to ensure alignment with corporate strategy.
• Manage strategic partnerships with media and community organizations.
• Handle inquiries from the media and other organizations for effective communication.
• Collaborate with social media teams to integrate PR strategies with online marketing.
• Lead crisis communications and reputation management efforts.
• Train staff on PR best practices and media interaction.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations in all PR activities.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, or Advertising
• Master's degree in a related field is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in public relations or marketing communications
