Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg. As a Financial Analyst, you will play a key role in analysing financial data, forecasting future trends, and assisting in strategic decision-making to enhance profitability and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and interpret financial data for senior management.
• Develop financial models to support project evaluations.
• Prepare and present financial reports, highlighting key trends and variances.
• Conduct variance analysis and report findings.
• Assist in identifying areas for cost reduction and increased profitability.
• Work with stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Support audit processes by providing necessary documentation.
• Assist in capital expenditure analysis and tracking.
• Maintain financial databases and update financial policies.
• Provide training to junior analysts on financial systems and practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is advantageous

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis or a related field
