The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing structural designs while ensuring compliance with relevant building regulations. You will work collaboratively with architects, contractors, and project managers to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve structural plans and specifications.
• Identify potential risks and propose strategies to mitigate them.
• Liaise with government authorities for permits and approvals.
• Contribute to research and development of new materials and techniques.
• Foster a proactive safety culture within the teams.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in related engineering field
• Postgraduate qualifications are beneficial

Experience

• 7+ years of extensive experience in structural design projects

• Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
• Project Management

Certifications

• Chartered Engineer (CEng) status

Languages

• Afrikaans: Basic
• English: Fluent
