You will work collaboratively with architects, contractors, and project managers to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyse structural systems for various projects.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with architects and construction teams to develop design solutions.
• Conduct site inspections and evaluations to assess ongoing projects.
• Prepare detailed reports and documentation related to structural designs.
• Utilize CAD software to produce high-quality engineering drawings.
• Participate in project meetings to review progress and address issues.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in related engineering field
• Postgraduate qualifications are beneficial

Experience

• 7+ years of extensive experience in structural design projects

Technical Skills

• Finite Element Analysis (FEA)

Certifications

• Chartered Engineer (CEng) status

• Afrikaans: Basic
