Responsibilities

• Support the clinical team by preparing patients for therapy.
• Ensure proper sanitation and sterilization of equipment.
• Aid in training new staff and students in roles and responsibilities.
• Create a positive and supportive environment for patient recovery.
• Contribute to team meetings to discuss patient feedback and service improvements.
• Assist in managing inventory for therapy supplies and equipment.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate in Therapeutic or Healthcare Support

Experience

• 2-3 years experience in a similar role preferred

Technical Skills

• Clinical Assessment
• Therapeutic Equipment Management

Soft Skills

• Empathy
• Time Management

Certifications

• CPR and First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Certifications in specific therapeutic areas: Additional certifications in physiotherapy, occupational therapy, or speech therapy are advantageous.
• Bilingual skills: Ability to communicate in both English and Afrikaans is beneficial.
