We are seeking a detail-oriented Cybersecurity Specialist in Port Elizabeth. In this role, you will analyze security protocols, respond to security breaches, and educate staff on best practices for maintaining security hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments to anticipate cyber threats.
• Manage security configuration and ensure it is aligned with best practices.
• Assist in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Liaise with external vendors for security services and products.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or related field
• Master's degree is advantageous

Experience

• 5 years of experience in cybersecurity or related fields

Certifications

• Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
• CompTIA Security+

Languages

• English: Fluent
