Job Description

As an Architect with our firm in Johannesburg, you will leverage your creativity and technical skills to design innovative structures. Your role will include project supervision, client interactions, and collaborating with diverse teams to bring designs to life while adhering to industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Create innovative architectural concepts that meet client objectives and enhance functional use.
• Coordinate with various stakeholders, including contractors and regulatory bodies, to ensure project feasibility.
• Analyze building designs utilizing advanced software for model simulations.
• Develop construction documents and maintain thorough project documentation.
• Evaluate the potential of materials and technologies to maximize efficiency and aesthetics in projects.
• Enhance designs based on stakeholder feedback and analytical data.
• Facilitate workshops to engage clients in the design process.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring the timely delivery of design milestones.
• Develop marketing materials and presentations for potential client engagements.
• Prepare and submit planning applications and supporting documents for regulatory approval.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
• Master's degree in Architecture is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in architectural design

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• Revit
• SketchUp

Soft Skills

Certifications

• Registered Architect
• LEED AP Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
