Responsibilities

• Assess and manage dental emergencies.
• Perform cosmetic procedures such as teeth whitening.
• Work with dental technologies and modern equipment.
• Promote a patient-centered approach to care.
• Train and educate junior staff as needed.
• Conduct community outreach for oral health education.
• Ensure all instruments and equipment are sterilized.
• Provide crisis intervention in case of patient emergencies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Dentistry from an accredited institution
• Postgraduate degree in Dentistry is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a dental practice

Technical Skills

• Restorative Dentistry
• Endodontics

Soft Skills

• Team leadership
• Attention to detail

Certifications

• Infection Control Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic

Advantageous

• Experience with oral surgery: Practical experience in performing oral surgery procedures.
• Proficiency in digital dentistry: Knowledge of the latest technologies in digital impressions and CAD/CAM systems.
