Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Chemical Engineer to join our Port Elizabeth team. The successful candidate will design and implement chemical processes, analyze data, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. This role involves collaborating with multidiscipline teams to enhance our operations and innovative products.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and validate new chemical formulations.
  • Assist in scaling up processes from laboratory to production.
  • Monitor and optimize production parameters.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures.
  • Collaborate with R&D teams for new product initiatives.
  • Document changes and updates in process procedures.
  • Support quality assurance activities and audits.
  • Engage with suppliers to ensure material quality.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies regarding compliance.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field
  • Master's degree preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in chemical engineering
