• Advocate for students' rights and provide support for their emotional well-being.
• Utilize technology and resources to enhance learning opportunities for students.
• Provide crisis intervention and support during behavioral incidents.
• Guide students in building social skills and self-advocacy skills.
• Coordinate with community resources to support student needs.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field
• Master's degree in Education or Psychology is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in special education

• Assessment tools

Certifications

• CPR and First Aid Certification

Languages

• Afrikaans: Basic
