Leading Insurance Group is seeking an experienced Actuary in Durban. You will analyze statistics, prepare reports, and inform policy development and strategic planning. Your role will involve working closely with our finance team to ensure sound fiscal health and compliance with local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial data using statistical methods to inform company strategies.
• Develop and maintain actuarial models for premium calculations and risk assessments.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for stakeholders on actuarial findings.
• Collaborate with other departments to align risk management with business goals.
• Identify areas for efficiency improvement in current actuarial processes.
• Interface with external auditors and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance.
• Assist in the development of new insurance products based on market trends.
• Provide strategic input on pricing and underwriting guidelines.
