Job Description

As an Industrial Engineer based in Johannesburg, you will be essential in driving improvements within our manufacturing processes. You will be tasked with performing data analysis to identify areas for enhancement and implementing strategies that promote efficiency and quality. Responsibilities

• Support the design and development of new production processes.
• Conduct root cause analysis to resolve production-related issues.
• Establish control systems for managing production efficiency.
• Improve the utilization of equipment and resources to reduce waste.
• Lead teams in the execution of operational improvements and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Report progress on engineering projects to management and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure quality of incoming materials.
• Recommend tools and techniques for optimizing production throughput.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related discipline
• Master's degree in Engineering Management is preferred

Experience

• 5 years of engineering experience, with a focus on process optimization
