We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Tanker Service Attendant to join our dynamic team. This role focuses on performing essential maintenance and repair services for tankers and other vehicles while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Responsibilities
Assist the tanker driver in the proper loading and unloading of petroleum products.
Monitor tanker equipment and report mechanical issues to the supervisor.
Communicate effectively with customers regarding service needs.
Complete necessary paperwork accurately and timely.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the tanker truck.
Ensure safety protocols are observed at all times.
Conduct preventative maintenance checks on tankers and vehicles.
Requirements
Education
Grade 12 or equivalent
National Diploma in Automotive Engineering or equivalent
Trade Certificate in Automotive Repair is a plus
Experience
Preferably 3+ years in automobile maintenance
