Seeking a skilled Environmental Engineer to join our Durban team. The ideal candidate will focus on developing environmentally sustainable projects, compliance with environmental regulations, and promoting best practices in resource management.

Responsibilities

• Perform ecological assessments and site evaluations.
• Manage projects related to environmental restoration.
• Create strategies to reduce the environmental impact of projects.
• Develop and review environmental policies and procedures.
• Coordinate stakeholder engagement initiatives.
• Conduct compliance audits and inspections.
• Deliver presentations on environmental findings and recommendations.
• Assist in grant writing for environmental research projects.
• Foster partnerships with local communities for environmental initiatives.
• Research and implement innovative sustainable practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related discipline
• Professional Engineering registration is preferred

• 5+ years of experience in environmental assessments
