Internal Auditor

Job Description

As an Internal Auditor in Johannesburg, you will lead assessments that determine the adequacy of internal controls and compliance. Your keen eye for detail will be pivotal in identifying risks and improving our client's business processes. You will work alongside cross-functional teams to produce comprehensive reports highlighting findings and suggested actions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct audits in line with established auditing standards.
• Analyze financial statements for accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Assist in the development and implementation of audit strategies.
• Collaborate with external auditors during review periods.
• Provide clear and concise feedback to relevant stakeholders regarding audit findings.
• Review and follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations.
• Evaluate the company's financial performance and report findings to management.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Professional Auditor Certification (e.g., CA, CIMA) preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in internal auditing or related field
