Job Description

Seeking a skilled Pharmacist to work in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for medication management, patient education, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and provide important information on drug interactions and side effects.
• Advise patients on the proper use of medications and health supplements.
• Maintain accurate patient records and perform medication reviews.
• Ensure compliance with relevant pharmaceutical legislation and standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.
• Manage pharmacy inventory and order supplies as necessary.
• Train and supervise pharmacy staff as needed.
• Participate in health promotion and disease prevention activities.
• Handle customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
• Stay updated with new drugs and therapies in the market.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or related field

Experience

• Registered Pharmacist with at least 2 years of experience

• Pharmaceutical Knowledge

Certifications

• Registered Pharmacist in South Africa

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational

• Experience in a retail pharmacy setting: Familiarity with retail practices and processes in pharmacy.
