Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Environmental Consultant to join our Johannesburg office. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of environmental regulations and a passion for sustainability. You will be responsible for conducting environmental assessments and advising clients on compliance and impact mitigation.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and report on environmental risks and compliance issues.
• Assist in developing strategies for sustainable development.
• Conduct fieldwork and data collection for assessments.
• Prepare compliance documentation for environmental permits.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions for clients.
• Collaborate with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance.
• Analyze data and provide recommendations based on findings.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of environmental legislation.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
• Master's degree in Environmental Policy is preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of direct experience in environmental assessments and compliance

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic

• Hands-on experience with field sampling: Practical experience in conducting fieldwork for environmental assessments.
