Allied Health Services is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team in Port Elizabeth. In this role, you will collaborate with patients to aid their recovery and promote their overall well-being through effective therapeutic techniques.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient needs through comprehensive assessments to inform therapy strategies.
• Design and execute intervention plans to help patients improve their daily living skills.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to refine rehab strategies.
• Provide educational resources and support to patients and families.
• Keep meticulous records of patient evaluations and progress reports.
• Assist patients in achieving their goals through structured therapeutic activities.
• Engage in continuous professional development and training.
• Offer guidance on the selection and use of assistive technology.
• Facilitate and participate in quality assurance activities related to therapy services.

Advantageous

• Experience in pediatrics or geriatric care: Preferred experience working with children or elderly patients.
• Knowledge of community resources: Familiarity with local health services and support systems.
