SOC Analyst

Job Description

In this role of SOC Analyst, you'll be pivotal in safeguarding sensitive information against threats by analyzing security alarms and coordinating responses. Ideal candidates will have expertise in incident response and a keen understanding of cybersecurity principles.

Responsibilities

• Analyze alarms and alerts to determine potential security incidents.
• Review and enhance the incident response plan regularly.
• Prepare reports on security incidents for management.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and regulations.
• Liaise with vendors for security tool management and updates.
• Assist in the training of junior SOC staff.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related discipline

Experience

• 1-2 years of experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) environment

• Network Security

Certifications

• Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)

Languages

• English: Fluent
