Job Description

We are on the lookout for an Environmental Engineer to join our vibrant team in Durban. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and implementing projects that promote sustainability and environmental protection. You will be responsible for conducting assessments, managing projects, and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver solutions that meet environmental regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead projects focused on sustainable resource management and environmental conservation.
  • Conduct research and analysis to support environmental policy development.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive project approaches.
  • Prepare grant proposals and funding applications for environmental projects.
  • Stay current with environmental regulations and industry best practices to ensure compliance.
  • Advocate for innovative solutions to environmental challenges within the organization.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or related field
  • Master's degree in Environmental Science preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a relevant field
