We are seeking an Oil and Gas Analyst to join our dynamic team in Durban. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting extensive data analysis, monitoring market trends, and contributing to the development of strategic plans that help optimize oil and gas production. You should be skilled in interpreting complex data sets and have a keen understanding of market dynamics specific to the oil and gas sector.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research on the global oil and gas market and interpret data findings.
• Prepare business cases for new projects, utilizing financial and market analysis.
• Work with cross-functional teams to implement operational changes based on analysis.
• Review and analyze financial models used for pricing strategies.
• Assist in developing and maintaining internal reporting systems.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
• Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, providing insights and support.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a similar field
• Postgraduate qualification is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years in market analysis or related experience in the oil and gas sector
